  • info How do I change my email address?

    You can change your email address on the "edit profile" page. After you've made your changes, click "Save" at the bottom of the page to save.

  • info How do I change my password?

    You can change your password from the "settings" page.

  • info When I send a message to someone, should that person also be a paid subscriber to view and respond to my message?

    No. Only the person starting/initiating the conversation needs to be a paid subscriber. The other person can just reply back as a free member.

  • info How do I know if someone on the site is a paid subscriber?

    You do not need to know that. If you are a paid subscriber sending messages to none paid members, they can still read and reply to your messages. Only one side of conversation is required to be a paid member, not both.

  • infoHow does "Search/Matches" works?

    Search/Matches works according to your basic profile preferences and search filters like age range and location. Based on your zip/postal code and/or ip address we sort the results matching your preferenaces from nearest to farthest to you.

  • infoHow do I edit my profile?

    To update your profile, click "Edit Profile" in Members Panel menu. Be sure to save your changes at the bottom of the screen when you're done.

  • infoHow does the Chat/Messenging work?

    To send a message to someone for the first time, from that person's profile page click on the message/chat icon below the profile photo and type in your message in the popup and send. Going forward all the messages sent and received are displayed on the chat screen. As a paid subscriber you can send unlimited messages to any other member you feel is a good match to you. When you send a message to someone, if that person is already online he/she will get a notification on the page that there is a new message. From the chat screen they can read your message and decide to reply or not. If that person is not online they will get an email notification that there is a message waiting for them to view. Mobile app users will also get a push notification about the message if push notifications are enabled.

  • infoWhen someone messages me, where does the message go and how do I respond?

    When a member sends you a message, it goes straight into your chat messages screen waiting for you to respond. We then send an email to your personal email address to let you know that it's there. If you are a mobile app user you will get a push notification also if that is enabled.

    To view the message, simply login to the site (or open the mobile app) and go to your chat page/screen. If you decide to write back, simply just type your message in the message box and send. All communications with other members stay onsite so that you never have to give out any personal information until you feel completely ready. Then when you are, you can exchange phone numbers and even meet in person.

  • infoWhen cancel/delete my account, does it end my subscription?

    Once you purchase a subscription, it will remain active for the remainder of your initial term even if you close your account.
    If you subscribed through our website and close your account we stop the subscription from renewing at the end of that term.
    If you subscribed through our IOS mobile app you need to cancel your subscription yourself from Apple 'settings' app in addition to cancelling your PersianSoulmate account. More information can be found here https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039.

  • infoHow do I turn off my subscription?

    If you subscribed from our website you can turn of your subscription plan from renewing from billing page subscription status tab.
    If you subscribed through our IOS mobile app you need to cancel your subscription from Apple 'settings' app. More information can be found here https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039.

  • infoHow do I delete my PersianSoulmate account?

    From the 'settings' page click on delete/remove account to close your PersianSoulmate account.

    Please note if you are a paid subscriber using our IOS app you need to cancel your subscription from Apple 'settings' app as well. Otherwise your subscription will continue renewing even if you closed your account and/or deleted the app.
