| About Myself: | I am a passionate, intelligent guy open to try new things with an awesome personality who is looking for a girl with a great personality. My friends would describe me as “serious yet fun” guy who is usually into doing pretty much anything, whether if it’s extremely adventurous spur of the moment activities to just simply sitting down with a cup of coffee at Starbucks and having a mature intelligent conversation. I was born in Silver Spring, Maryland. I have lived in Woodbridge since I was four, and I am always up for meeting someone new. :) In the past couple of years I have had a difficult yet life changing experience that has helped me to be the person I am today. In my late teens, I have never truly valued my dreams and aspirations in life until recently. I was working full-time at Wachovia as a IT Specialist while attending Northern Virginia Community College. I was satisfied with my current position in life but I wasn’t truly happy with where I was I felt safe. Working for Wachovia for two years I felt my life was empty less fulfilled, which my true feeling was being behind in my own life story. I remember having a very memorable conversation with my best friend Daniel about our childhood goals. Ever since I was twelve years old my first goal was to attend and graduate from George Mason University, while my best friend Daniel’s dream was to graduate from Virginia Tech. On April 16, 2007 my best friend lost his life living his dream. His death changed how I viewed life, it put things into perspective. I value my dreams and goals than ever before and never looked back. While battling the loss of my best friend was able to personally raise more than $1,000 for his funeral in Woodbridge, which was truly an honor and gift to give him since helping me to become a better man and realize my purpose in life. The one thing Daniel taught me through this was life is about risks you’re not truly living your life unless you go after your dreams. I realized that it is true, life is indeed too short and I didn’t want to leave this world without going after my dreams and goals. A couple months after his passing, I decided enough was enough and I left my job with Wachovia and with Daniel’s motivation worked hard for a year in my education and was recently accepted to my childhood school, George Mason University. Currently, I am a student at George Mason University working on my Bachelors’ Degree, majoring in Information Technology with a minor in Network Security. Presently, my grade point average (GPA) is 3.92. On my free time away from studying and from my advisers whom are pressuring me to start my Masters Degree while completing my Bachelors, I love to workout at the gym, go out with friends, play Rockband on my PlayStation 3 or just picking up my lacrosse stick to just practice on my shooting accuracy. |
